T-Mobile's Magenta and international plans bundle data abroad in most of Europe. The important detail: how much high-speed data you get, and what happens after that, changes by plan and by year. Some plans include a small daily or monthly high-speed allowance, then drop you to a reduced speed. Some include add-on day passes you pay per day of use.

How to avoid accidental roaming charges
The classic mistake is landing with both lines hungry for data. Do this instead:
- Install the VoaSim eSIM at home, before the flight. Keep the eSIM line switched off until you land.
