When the 15-day plan is not the right one
Count your days on the ground, not your nights. If you land on a Saturday morning and fly home on the second Saturday, that is 15 days of coverage — the 15-day plan fits.
- 12 or 13 days: still the 15-day plan. There is no 12-day package, and buying 10 days plus a 5-day top-up costs more than USD 42.90.
- 16 to 20 days: the 30-day plan at USD 61.90 is the next step up and drops the daily rate to USD 2.06.
- Two people: two eSIMs in one order, 10% off the second.
- Long stay: the maximum is 90 days per eSIM.

Border crossings: nothing to do
This is the part people worry about and it is the least dramatic. When you cross from France into Spain by train, or fly Milan to Istanbul, the eSIM searches for a local partner network and reconnects on its own, on 4G and, where the local network supports it, faster. You do not buy anything, change any setting or reinstall anything.
Two practical notes. First, after landing, give the phone one to three minutes to register on the new network; a quick airplane-mode toggle usually speeds it up. Second, keep your home carrier's data roaming switched off for the whole trip so the phone does not drift back to an expensive roaming connection.

If your route leaves Europe
Europe plans stop at Europe. If your two weeks include Morocco, Egypt, Dubai, the US or anywhere else among the 170 destinations VoaSim covers, enter every country in the simulator and it issues the right regional product for your itinerary. The price table above does not change — one price per duration, whatever the destination.
Two limits worth knowing before you book. There is no coverage in the island Caribbean right now (Dominican Republic, Cuba, Jamaica, Bahamas, Aruba, Curaçao); Puerto Rico works because it runs on US networks. And on a Mediterranean cruise the eSIM works on land, in port, but not at sea.
Hotspot or tethering is not something we promise on any plan. If you plan to share the connection with a laptop or a travel partner, check with support first instead of assuming it.
Install before you fly, and offline maps
The QR code arrives by email within minutes of payment (plus a WhatsApp heads-up if you left a number). Install it at home, on your own Wi-Fi, following the step-by-step guide for iPhone and Android — not in an airport queue.
Validity starts at the eSIM's first connection to a network at the destination, not at purchase. So install it, then leave the eSIM line switched off until you land. On Android in particular, do not switch on the eSIM's mobile data before the trip.
Before leaving, download offline maps for your cities in Google Maps or Maps.me. Not because you will run out of data — you will not — but because underground metros, mountain passes and border tunnels have dead zones everywhere.
