1. Roaming on the eSIM line

2. eSIM as data

Network & internet → SIMs → set the eSIM as the mobile data line and confirm it is on (the "Use SIM" switch).

3. Force the network

  1. Airplane mode 10 seconds → off
  2. Restart
  3. Still nothing? On the eSIM line: turn off "Automatically select network" and pick a local carrier

Still at home? "No service" is normal

Most travel eSIMs only connect in the destination country. At home it shows "no service" and that is not a defect. Installing it doesn't use up the plan: the days usually start counting when you connect at the destination with roaming turned on.

⚠️ Never delete the eSIM from your phone. With most providers the QR code installs only once: deleting the line can mean losing the plan. Removing the eSIM is a last resort, and only with guidance from the support team of whoever sold it to you.
