• It uses your home plan. Roaming data typically comes out of your existing monthly bucket instead of giving you a fresh allowance.
• Daily allowance, then reduced speeds. Most carrier roaming products slow you down after a certain amount of use in a day.

2. Confirm whether roaming is included or needs activation. Turn it on before you fly, while you still have Canadian service.

5. Turn data off on days you do not need it. A day with zero usage is usually a day with no charge.
