Install before you fly, and what to do if there is no signal
Your QR code arrives by email within minutes of payment (plus a WhatsApp heads-up if you left a number). Install it at home, while you still have solid Wi-Fi and time to ask questions.
Then keep the eSIM line switched off until you land. On Android, do not switch on the eSIM's mobile data before the trip — the clock starts at the first connection to a network at the destination.
