VoaSim eSIM Price Index methodology
Summary: a VoaSim robot reads each provider's public price pages every day, stores the lowest price of every unlimited plan by destination and length, and publishes it with the source. No number is typed by hand and no AI reads prices.
What we collect
- Providers: VoaSim, Holafly, Airalo, Nomad and Holasim.
- Plans: unlimited data only.
- Lengths: 5, 7, 10, 15 and 30 days.
- Currency: USD as published by each provider.
Value-for-money score (0-100)
- Price (70%): 100 for the lowest price, proportional for the rest.
- Truly unlimited (30%): 100 with no published daily cap; with a cap and reduced speed: 70 (5 Mbps+), 50 (1-5 Mbps), 25 (under 1 Mbps), +10 if the cap is 5 GB/day or more.
