Holafly Black Friday: what it offered in 2025 and what to expect in 2026

What did Holafly offer on Black Friday 2025?

Holafly's 2025 campaign was a bundle rather than a straight percentage: buy 3 eSIMs, pay for 2. It ran from November 24 to December 2, 2025 and required the code BLACKFRIDAY at checkout, as shown on esim.holafly.com (checked December 4, 2025).

The structure matters. A 3-for-2 deal delivers its full value only when you actually need three eSIMs, for example three travelers on the same trip, or one person with three separate trips planned. A solo traveler buying one plan for one destination got nothing from it. Couples were in between: they had to add a third plan they might not use to unlock the free one.

Holafly sells plans with unlimited data, so the comparison with other brands comes down to price per day and how many eSIMs you need.

How did Airalo, Nomad, Saily and others compare in 2025?

Each brand took a different approach in late November 2025. Here is what the dated sources show:

• Airalo: 15% off for new users, with a maximum saving of USD 7 per purchase (airalo.com campaign page). Returning customers were not the target.
• Nomad: partner codes between 22% and 30%, reported by AOL on November 24, 2025. The rate depended on which partner code you used.
• Saily: 5% off plus account credit, running until December 16, 2025 (saily.com), one of the longest windows of the season.
• LATAM Friday: the airline's sale included 10% off eSIMs from November 27 to 30, 2025 (Brasilturis, November 27, 2025).
• Yesim and Ubigi: both ran seasonal promotions, but we could not verify dated terms, so we leave them out of the numbers here.

Holafly's bundle stood out because it was the only major offer built around quantity rather than a flat percentage. For a group of three, it was the most generous structure on paper. For one traveler, a percentage code was the only kind that applied.

What do 10-day unlimited eSIMs cost before Black Friday 2026?

Any Black Friday price only means something against a baseline. The Índice VoaSim collected on November 1, 2026 lists published 10-day unlimited prices in USD (brands that publish in BRL converted at PTAX 5.4212):

Three numbers stand out. In the United States, Holafly lists USD 36.50 against USD 29.90 at VoaSim and USD 34.00 at Airalo. In Europe, Holafly is at USD 37.50 for 10 days. What should you expect from Holafly Black Friday 2026?

As of November 1, 2026, Holafly had not announced its 2026 offer. Based on the 2025 pattern, expect activity to start a few days before Black Friday on November 27, 2026 and run through or past Cyber Monday on November 30, 2026. In 2025, Holafly's window opened on November 24 and closed on December 2, so a similar nine-day window would roughly cover November 23 to December 1, 2026. That is an estimate, not an announcement.

Whether Holafly repeats the 3-for-2 format or switches to a percentage is unknown. Check the terms on its site when the campaign goes live, and note whether a code is required, as BLACKFRIDAY was in 2025.

How do you judge a 3-for-2 or percentage eSIM deal?

Run the math before you buy. A few rules that worked in 2025:

1. Count the eSIMs you need. A 3-for-2 bundle saves money only if all three get used. Two unused eSIMs are not savings.
2. Check the maximum saving. Airalo's 15% in 2025 topped out at USD 7 per purchase, so on a larger order the effective rate dropped.
3. Compare the final price, not the percentage. A 30% code on a higher list price can still end up above a lower published price elsewhere.
